Vintage Blue Kitchen
What a labor of love! This 1932 brick home was crying out for an update. We removed the wall between the dining and kitchen areas, removed an arched wall in the back of the kitchen and added another beam in the basement to hold it all up. The entire layout was reconfigured to accommodate amateur chefs and to celebrate time spent with family and friends. It’s now a welcoming, spacious living area that will be a timeless showpiece of this home for years to come.
With the wall removed between the kitchen and dining area, the space is open and welcoming for friends and family.
Heated herringbone, wood look tile invites.
Where there once was a window there is now a custom hood, gas cooktop and niche for culinary creation storage. There's enough open floor space to accommodate two cooks!
Adding a one of a kind tiled niche beautifully provides much needed storage for special cooking items collected during the client's travels.
With the dining wall removed, the sink becomes the center, flanked by a waste pull out, dishwasher and breakfast bar on the other side. Pendant lights highlight the expansive countertop. Herringbone set, heated tile floors keep the clients comfortable all year.
Kitchen and dining areas flow effortlessly together. The dining room side now features storage cabinets under the breakfast bar offering a tidy place to store entertainment items close at hand. Reese the dog approved!
By removing a wall, this once cramped space is a baker's dream. Drawer storage and a large pantry make it a breeze to locate any item needed. The undercounter lighting is dimmable giving the user ultimate control.

A speed oven and steam -combi oven below complete this amateur chef's dream.
